Mothering Support Group Tuesday 12-2pm Post Falls Idaho
Motherhood is beautiful, meaningful, and transformative, but it can also feel isolating, overwhelming, and uncertain at times. Whether you're caring for a newborn, navigating toddlerhood, homeschooling, balancing work and family life, or simply seeking connection with other mothers, you are welcome here.
Motherhood Support Group, hosted by Idaho Wayfinder, is a free weekly gathering designed to provide support, education, and community for mothers raising young children. While all stages of motherhood are welcome, the group is especially geared toward mothers of infants and young children who are navigating the day-to-day realities of feeding, nurturing, and caring for their growing families.
At its core, this group exists to support mothers with infant feeding. Whether you have questions about breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, returning to work, starting solids, or weaning, you'll find evidence-informed guidance, encouragement, and a welcoming space to learn.
But motherhood is about more than feeding babies.
Conversations often expand into the many aspects of parenting, including sleep, routines, relationships, identity, work-life balance, mental wellness, and the ongoing journey of matrescence. This is a place where mothers can ask questions, share experiences, celebrate successes, and receive support through the many seasons of motherhood.
This support group has been serving mothers in our community for more than twenty years.
Originally established through the loving work of Mother's Haven, the group has continued through the dedication of several hosts who have faithfully held space for connection, education, and support for local families.
Today, it is my honor and privilege to continue that tradition and steward this community gathering into its next chapter. I am grateful for the generations of mothers and leaders who have contributed to the lasting impact of this group and for the opportunity to support families in the years ahead.
